Welcome Fall! This time of year, has been a favorite of mine, honestly every season I can find something that I love about it, but fall just holds something dear to my heart. I don't know if it is because I remember my dad going deer hunting, his excitement when he "got one" and all the deer meat and noodles my mom made. It could be driving down Centreville-Constantine Rd in Michigan and witnessing the beautiful canopy of colorful trees - it always brought and still brings calmness to my heart. The joys of picking and carving pumpkins with the family. Baking all those pumpkin and apple delights that I only make this time of year, and then seeing the smiles on my children ... husband too...when they smell the aroma engulfing our home. Knowing that college students are coming home, family and friends you don't see often coming over to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoying a football game or two as well, and who doesn't love the crisp smell of fall? It's just a wonderful time of year, when we truly remember all the things we are grateful for and a perfect time of year to express it.
